What Juicer Did You Use?

Hi Christine

May I ask what juicer you used.

Was it something like the nutribullet?

The reason I ask is someone in my family has been recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia and I thought I might buy them a a juicer

And send them to your website for information

Best Wishes

J

I find juicing much more beneficial in helping my fibro pain when it is really bad. My body responds better to juice as it doesn't have to contend with the fibre on my juicing days.

But I still use a blender for making smoothies for breakfast when I'm not juicing.

This is something your relative will have to experiment with, to establish whether having smoothies or having juices helps with pain. We are all unique therefore what works for one person will not necessarily work for someone else.

I did try a nutribullet for making smoothies but it gave up after a month so I use a normal blender now as I find them more robust.

Getting children involved in making smoothies or juices is a brilliant way of increasing their nutritional intake and increasing their awareness of the nutritional value of foods and how good nutrition positively affects health.

Does it have to be a juicer?
by: J

Thankyou for letting me know

Just a quick question

Does it HAVE to be a juicer or could I offer a nutribullet.
The reason I ask is because I have one and it keeps all the fibre in the drink and its great fun to use....

My relative has kids, so it could be a fun way to get all of them involved in mums health, if they can make things as a family

Hi J
Lovely to hear from you and thank you for your question.

I have a Phillips Viva juicer. It is available in most electrical stores and a lot of online stores as well. I bought this particular model because it was within my price range (£100) and its not too big and bulky. It fits neatly in a kitchen cupboard so its not always on show, taking up space and the parts are dishwasher safe. Most importantly it does a great job, juicing.

Please do tell your relative to contact me if further information or assistance is needed and I will be happy to help.

Hope this helps
Christine
