Sleep Deprivation

Sleep-deprivation

I suffered from sleep deprivation for over 30 years until I cured my sleep apnea naturally.

I trained myself to breathe through my nose so I was no longer a mouth breather. Our bodies are not designed to breathe through our mouth and causes so many health problems.

Sleep Apnea Gone!

Christine-sleep-study211

I've had another sleep study and this time it was successful!

I did one back in December and for some reason it didn't work, the data read '0' on all the readouts.

I was able to do the sleep study at home which is always my preferred choice because I think I sleep better. My bedroom is the right temperature for me, I find hospitals too hot. There are no nurses to keep checking on you and background noise to keep you awake.

I am delighted that the results of the sleep study showed that my sleep apnea has GONE.

All the time and effort I have put into training myself to breathe through my nose and keeping my mouth closed with tape while I sleep has paid off. I am so thrilled.

Sleep Study Done!

sleep-studyI did a home sleep study to monitor my sleep apnea, to see if its any better or any worse. A home sleep study is where you are sent home with all the relevant equipment and you wire yourself up before going to sleep to monitor you through the night. You then take the equipment back to the hospital or sleep clinic where they will download the data. This should give the doctors an accurate picture of your sleep patterns and disorders.

I got a phone call after I had taken my sleep study equipment back to the sleep clinic, to say the sleep study hadn't been successful, for some reason it just recorded 0's. So I have to go back and have it done again, hopefully it will be another home study.

Sleep Study Tonight!

I'm having a sleep study tonight. This is to monitor my sleep apnea, to see if it has got any better. I've had lots of sleep studies before and they are quite tedious. I'm having a home sleep study so I have to go to the sleep clinic, get wired up, come home, go to sleep for the night and in the morning go back to the clinic so the data can be down loaded. I'll let you know how I get on.

Mouth Tape

Some of you will be aware that I use tape to tape my mouth when I sleep to stop me from snoring and having any apneas. I have found that its worth investing in better quality micro pore tape as the cheaper stuff doesn't stay on.
